The CW to Air EA Madden NFL 18 Challenge Special

The CW is once again dabbling in esports. On December 27th, the network will feature the EA Madden NFL 18 Challenge, a one-hour prime time special. The special will take a behind-the-scenes look at the eight players competing in December’s Madden NFL competition, which will be held in Los Angeles. The eight competitors will be competing for a share of a $150,000 prize pool. Though the CW’s special will air on the 27th, shooting will take place on December 15 and December 16, before the actual contest. The competition will take place from December 18 through December 22, and will be live-streamed across platforms including Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube.
