Rhett & Link are looking to expand their hit YouTube series, Good Mythical Morning. The new show format will debut on November 6, and will include musical and celebrity guests, along with the normal variety of sketches and produced segments. The added content will push the runtime of GMM from about 10-15 minutes to around 22 minutes in length. YouTube is kicking in most of the money, and for good reason; GMM has about 20 million subscribers and is the most watched talk show on YouTube.
“YouTube is partnering with us to make a bigger and better show — we’ll be able to throw more at it each day,” said Rhett.
PageBreaks Take: Rhett & Link are not only looking to grow their fan base, but to attract advertising dollars in line with other host celebrities like Ellen DeGeneres, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel.
