Nintendo World Championship to Hit Big Apple on October 7

Nintendo announced more details on its upcoming Nintendo World Championships 2017. Sixteen top players will qualify to travel to New York to compete in a multi-game event on October 7th. Players will compete in a series of current and historic Nintendo games, including the 3DS release Metroid: Samus Returns. The qualifying players will be joined by online personalities from the United States, Europe, Canada and Mexico, including actor and Super Smash Bros. tournament player Asa Butterfield and WWE Superstar Bayley. The event will be hosted by Andrea Rene, with play-by-play and analysis by Jordan Kent.
