HBO Breached Again As Game of Thrones Episode Leaks Online

Right on the heels of the cyber-attack that compromised HBO this week, the fourth episode of the mega-hit Game of Thrones was leaked online. A low-res version of the episode appeared on a Reddit thread ahead of its scheduled premiere date Sunday. According to HBO, the leak was not related to the company data breach, but was traced to one of HBO's distribution partners, Star India. “This confirms the compromise of episode 4 of Game of Thrones Season 7, earlier this afternoon," read a statement from Star India. "We take this breach very seriously and have immediately initiated forensic investigations to swiftly determine the cause.” In the meantime, HBO will continue to work with law enforcement to investigate their own security breach.
