Animal Planet Will Be Going To the Dogs During the Super Bowl

Puppy Bowl will have a new friend come Super Bowl time . Animal Planet announced the premiere of Puppy Bowl Presents: The Dog Bowl, a new football competition created for adult dogs living in rescues and shelters who are frequently looked over for adoption. The Dog Bowl will be paired with fan favorite Puppy Bowl, and air during the Road to Puppy Bowl before the big halftime special: Puppy Bowl XIV.

Animal advocate Jill Rappaport will host the one-hour special, which will feature adoptable adult dogs in need of homes. The Dog Bowl will work with shelters and rescues in the country to fill the rosters of dog players for what will be a match between two teams. The best news is that after at the end of the show, all of the dogs end up finding a home.
