Forbes Magazine has released their list of highest paid celebrities for the 2016/17 year, and it clearly pays to tour. Of the top ten, five our musical acts, including Diddy, Beyonce, Drake, The Weeknd, and Coldplay. Diddy leads the list with an estimated gross income of $130 million, money that includes his Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, a partnership with Ciroc vodka and selling one-third of his Sean John clothing line for around $70 million. Also cracking the top ten was J.K Rowling, who came in third with $95 million thanks to her bestselling book/play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which flew off the shelves and started a successful run in London's West End. Rowling also received plenty of cash from the Harry Potter Universal Studios attractions and from her new Warner Bros. movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The highest grossing athlete was Christiano Ronaldo, who brought in $93 million from his exploits on and off the pitch.
