Spider-Man: Homecoming is off and running, snaring $15.4 million from Thursday night previews on about 3,500 screens. By comparison, Wonder Woman brought in $11 million on Thursday before opening with $103 million. Staying in the family, The Amazing Spider-Man brought in $7.5 million from Tuesday night previews, while The Amazing Spider-Man 2 launched with $8.7 million on Thursday and opened with $91.6 million. Original estimates for the Tom Holland reboot were about $100 million for the opening weekend, but early results are pushing those numbers up to between $115-$120 million.
