E3: Best and Worst of 2017 Show

The biggest winner of this year's E3 convention was Mario, who headlined two new releases that garnered considerable buzz. Super Mario Odyssey and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle both look like winners for the Switch console, and the New Donk City booth was a must-see for convention goers during the week. On the losing side, Microsoft's introduction of the new XBox One X was met with skeptical yawns from gamers who seemed unlikely to shell out $500 for a system with no proprietary games and little in the way of technical enhancements.
